Caiden Meyer

Caiden (He/Him) is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Music Education in Saxophone at the University of Victoria. Originally from Port Alberni, BC, he began his musical journey in middle school band and has since explored a variety of instruments, including piano, saxophone, flute, and ukulele. At UVic, Caiden is the president of UVSMEA (University Of Victoria Music Educators Association). Through his studies, Caiden has gained a wide range of musical experience and knowledge, and he is passionate about sharing the joy of music-making with others. He meets students where they are in terms of their favorite music and learning styles and objectives. He is committed to bringing a positive and inclusive environment where students feel safe and encouraged to grow their musical abilities on any and all instruments!
